The Defense POW/MIA Agency recently announced the return of the remains of Lt. William Q. Punnell for burial at Arlington National Cemetery.
Punnell was a WWII pilot and listed as MIA for 73 years. In 2014, BentProp and Project Recover found his Hellcat submerged in nearly 100 feet of water near
Palau.
