A donation of $30 will provide fuel to power the compressors to run one hour of air from the surface down to divers working on the recovery site 100’ underwater.
Legion Undersea Services, in partnership with Project Recover, will be rotating ‘hard hat’ divers every 90 minutes on the ocean
floor for a total of six hours per day.
What about the other hoses?
-
The black hose is for people topside to monitor the diver’s depth. It is called a Pneumofathometer. (if you can pronounce that, let us know!)
-
The red cable powers the two-way voice communications between the diver and the team on the surface.
-
The green cable powers the helmet mounted camera and lighting system which allows the topside team to view and record what the diver sees.
We have those covered.
Thank you for your support for Project Recover.
