Dear
First a huge and hearty thank you to all of you who donated AIR to our hard hat divers for the MIA Recovery Mission that will occur later this year. With your donations, we are able to buy fuel to run air to our divers for 27 hours -- or nearly 5 days of work.
After a hard hat diver spends 90 minutes working at the MIA Recovery site 100' underwater, they need to spend 75 minutes in a decompression chamber. This allows the diver's body to safely expel accumulated nitrogen and avoid what is commonly called
"the bends' or decompression
sickness.
This is an essential part of our
Commitment to Safety for team members and partners as we bring our MIAs home.
You can contribute to the safety of our team by donating 75 minutes in the decompression chamber for $100.
