Welcome To The Project Recover Community!
Thank you for visiting the Project Recover table at MIC. We are grateful for your interest in our mission to find and bring home America's MIAs. Staying in touch with us through our
newsletter is a huge help for our mission as we strive to spread awareness and garner more support to fund continued research, search, and recovery missions for the more than 80,000 service members still missing in action. Over 5 Million Family Members Still Suffer In Silence An estimated
five million family members today still wait for information about their loved one. Though our MIAs gave their lives in service to our country, our cause is often overlooked. We believe that the least they and their families deserve is a valiant effort driven not just by our government, but by grateful Americans across the country. In the words of our CEO, Derek Abbey, "“The foundation of Project Recover’s work is rooted in the belief that when a service member swears an oath to the constitution
and dons the cloth of our Nation, a promise is made to them and their family that should they fall in service every effort will be made to return them to their loved one. This promise does not have an expiration date. For us, every day is Memorial Day.”

Countries We are the only nonprofit organization that is executing this mission from research to recovery in both land and underwater environments around the world. Over the last 30 years, we've executed over 100 missions in over 20 countries. Other than the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), we are the gold standard in this space, covering all aspects of the mission through a scientific and diplomatic approach. Being the best stewards of our donors' funding, we execute missions based on the highest likelihood of success. We are also honored to be an official trusted partner of DPAA, knowing that our mission directly supports their government-chartered mission of providing the
fullest possible accounting for military personnel to their families and the nation.

receive one or two emails a month with our mission, repatriation, and event updates. We'll also share news from our education efforts along with any opportunities for supporting our mission. You can always reply to any newsletter to reach me directly. We have been working on a new website that we hope to roll out before the end of the year. It will be full of information and we can't wait to hear what you think about it! In the
meantime, feel free to check out our current website, here.
